FUNCTION AND DESCRIPTION:

 

The ILPRA SPEEDY V/G is an in-line machine.

The motion of the conveyor and the unwinding-rewinding system is mechanical, while the sealing plate is pneumatically driven.  The construction of the FOODPACK SPEEDY V/G takes into consideration the special conditions of wet operations.  All parts, as well as the working area and casing, are made of stainless materials or anodized aluminium.

 

 

SEQUENCE OF STATIONS

 

Motorized in-feed conveyor.    It has the function of feeding the trays to the sealing area by a series of  transfer bars fixed to 2 chains mechanically driven.  The bars get near the trays and, pushing them, make them go on by one step per time. This conveyor has got 3 free steps, where, eventually, it is possible to place a tray denester and/or a dosing system. The conveyor can be easily and quickly prepared to work 2 trays per cycle. The conveyor movement is completely adjustable.

 

Unwinding-rewinding group.     This is to unwind automatically the right quantity of thermosealing film coming from a reel under the sealing area and to rewind the scraps after the sealing-cutting operation.  On this group it is possible to insert a coder for production/expiration date printing.  As option, a “printed to web system” allows to place exactly a film picture on the trays.

 

Sealing/cutting station. The tray is pushed under the sealing area. Here the bend-die, pneumatically driven,  brings the tray into contact with the sealing plate and the sealing and cutting operations take place.

This area has got an openable plastic protection: in case that this door is open,  the machine  stops instantaneously or does not start.

This unit is timed and thermo-regulated electronically.

The machine is endowed with our vacuum/gas system which consists of a vacuum chamber around the sealing area, the vacuum and gas pipes, electrovalves, a63 m³BUSH vacuum pump and an electronic vacuum device to regulate and control the vacuum degree and the gas compensation.

 

Ejection station.      Here the sealed trays are pushed out from the sealing area by the transfer bars along an inclined plane. As an option, this unit can be endowed with an ejection conveyor.

 

Control panel.  The machine is controlled by a PLC connected to the control panel. This is endowed with 2 thermoregulators to regulate the sealing temperature, 1 timer to regulate the sealing time and a display with keyboard, which controls all the machine functions.
